Our repertoire is made up of early music from the Middle Age, popular and ethnic music from Sicily and the Mediterranean which can vary on the setting. In addition to this, sometimes  it include original music composed by professor Michele Conti.

The strong and vigorous sound of bagpipes, bombards and drums alternate with the more delicate sound of the citola, lyre, cither, viella, hurdy-gurdy, flutes and chalomeau that accompany joyful songs peculiar of Trinacria land. There are also short interventions where comic stories are told and alternate with music, songs and interactions with the public. Traditional costumes and instruments are empolyed.

The company's performances can:

  • be wandering: the wandering show develops in an interactive way with the public.  In fact, the minstrel and the dancer are accompanied by the musicians along the streets while they dance, mime and cheer up involving the old and the young in round dances, games and simple group dances.  In the meantime the narrator entertains the public with odes, songs and burlesque sonnets.  In addition to this, not rarely the performers play as protagonists in theatrical sketches of the past, in Italian or vulgar language.
  • be still: profane music concerts could be played and performed in different environments such as theatres, halls, auditoriums or similar places, or also in open air like church-squares, historical courts, ancient suburbs or similar places; sacred music concerts could also be performed inside churches.

The duration of the performance can change upon request.
